As an experienced BACP counsellor, I work with adults, young people and teenagers. I welcome people looking for support in wide-ranging issues, including:

  • Relationship difficulties

  • Loss and bereavement

  • Low self-esteem and confidence

  • Feeling stuck, finding it hard getting back on your feet

  • Having something you need to get off your chest.

Perhaps you would value support with your mental health. I believe that being human means at times we can all struggle at times through lockdown stress, financial and work pressure, illness, weather (the 'winter blues'), our chemical makeup, trauma and abuse.

Mental health is an area I am especially passionate about, so I welcome meeting you if you would like help with:

  • Anxiety, stress, panic attacks

  • Depression

  • Difficulties resulting from attachment issues, or trauma or abuse, e.g. post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)

  • Dissociation

I offer both long and short-term therapy, your choice may depend on how long you have been finding things difficult and what you are hoping to gain. 

I can offer you support with:

  • Gaining greater self-awareness, self-compassion and acceptance 

  • Complete any unfinished business 

  • Explore new choices available to you 

  • Setting appropriate boundaries.  

There will be regular opportunities for us to review how your therapy is going. Endings are an important part of the process, so we will plan together for an ending that is satisfying and supportive to you.
